Job Title:
Mechanical Assembler Job Description This role focuses on assisting the team with full mechanical integration and main unit assembly, including crimping, pulling, terminating, and installing components. You work hands-on with power and hand tools to complete final mechanical assembly with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, while following written instructions and working closely with your team on a fast-paced production line. Responsibilities Assist in full mechanical integration and main unit assembly from start to finish. Use drills with different size drill bits to install hardware and securely fasten doors on units. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete assembly tasks. Follow written instructions, work orders, and assembly procedures accurately. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and resolve assembly issues. Essential Skills At least 1 year of experience in mechanically inclined role. Ability to read and follow written instructions and assembly procedures. Experience using power tools, including drills, in a production or light industrial environment. Proficiency with hand tools for mechanical assembly and final assembly work. Why Work Here? Work Environment This is a 1st shift position with a normal schedule of Monday through Friday, 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM. The work takes place in an environment where you regularly use hand tools and power tools, including drills, to assemble mechanical units. You work closely with a team under direct supervision in a structured setting that emphasizes safety, quality, and consistent output. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Memphis, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
