GEODynamics in Benbrook, TX is looking for qualified candidates for Mechanical Assembler.

Key Accountabilities:

Performs standard assembly procedures, rework, and repair on manufactured equipment and products. Learns to use different tools and equipment to assemble units according to required specifications. Identifies faulty parts and conduct pressure tests on the assembled parts to ensure that they are functioning properly and are of good quality. Learns to maintain tools, shop, and equipment in good condition and keep shop and work area in a clean and orderly condition. Reads and interprets blueprints, sketches, and written instructions of engineers to assemble the parts or products. Practice safe work habits in accordance with OSHA and GEO-specific Health and Safety expectations

Qualifications, Experience, Skills/Knowledge:

High School Diploma or Equivalency. Technical degree or vocational training preferred. 2 - 3 years of experience in manufacturing mechanical assembly work. Basic level computer skills (MS Office - Excel, Outlook, MS Word). Basic to intermediate mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to safely perform related physical demands of the role: Bending, lifting, stooping, and standing greater than 50% of the time Repetitive motion demands Hands/wrist/shoulder. Ability to lift up-to 50 pounds (over 50 pounds requires a team lift).

Work Environment/Environmental Conditions:

Occasional exposure to hazardous chemicals, fumes, and gases Ability to work in extreme temperatures.
