Full-time | 1st Shift LINK Staffing is hiring a skilled Mechanical Assembler for a full-time opportunity in Southeast Houston. This role is ideal for someone with experience in precision manufacturing, mechanical assembly, or CNC machining environments. Candidates with mill, lathe, or 5-axis experience are strongly encouraged to apply. Job Highlights $28.00/hr Full-time, 1st shift Skilled mechanical assembly work Precision manufacturing environment CNC and machining background strongly preferred What You'll Do Assemble mechanical components and subassemblies using drawings, schematics, and work instructions Use hand tools and power tools for fit-up, fastening, adjustment, and final assembly Perform quality checks to verify measurements, alignment, and overall fit Work with precision-machined parts and follow detailed build requirements Support production tied to machining and assembly operations Help identify and correct fit-up or assembly issues during the build process Keep the work area clean, organized, and aligned with safety and quality standards What We're Looking For Mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment Ability to read engineering drawings, schematics, or work instructions Experience using hand tools and power tools Strong understanding of precision measurements and close tolerances Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Basic computer skills for production-related documentation Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive work Preferred CNC mill, lathe, or 5-axis experience Experience working with machined components Familiarity with metric measurements Knowledge of GD&T Experience in aerospace, automotive, or other high-precision manufacturing Vocational or technical training in machining or mechanical assembly Why Apply Competitive pay at $28.00/hr Full-time, 1st shift schedule Skilled hands-on work in a precision manufacturing setting Strong fit for candidates with assembly and machining-related experience Apply Now If you have mechanical assembly experience and a background in CNC, machining, or precision manufacturing, apply today to be considered.
