Mechanical Assembly Technician
  • The job location is in Plano, Texas 75074
  • Monday thru
Friday:
2:00 pm to 10:00 pm -
  • The pay rate is 20.90 an hour
  • Must be available for OT
  • Temp to Perm About the Role The Mechanical Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling manufactured products and packing according to specifications. Perform all assignments within acceptable quantity and perfect quality requirements in keeping within assigned functions. Duties & Key Responsibilities
  • Assembles machinery, fabricated metal products, electrical equipment, appliances, and more according to directions.
  • Reads blueprints, schematics, or similar documentation, then builds to those specifications.
  • Uses various machines and hand tools to accomplish assigned tasks.
  • Maintains logs, records, and reports concerning production, machine maintenance, and product inconsistencies.
  • Maintains equipment and conveyors and performs basic repairs when needed.
  • Inventories tools, parts, and supplies; contacts materials handler if supplies are needed.
  • Periodically checks products per company policy to ensure quality and uniform completion; resolves any identified problems and alerts supervisor.
  • Exhibits teamwork in all tasks and maintains a positive, team-based attitude.
  • Ability to confidently communicate, interact and build customer relationships supporting company culture.
  • Performs other job-related duties as necessary or assigned.
Job Requirements:
    Experience:
    Minimum 3 years of experience in assembly or manufacturing setting.
      Skills:
      • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software as necessary to complete logs or records.
      • Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
      • Detail oriented and consistent.
      • Works well as a productive member of a team.
      • Ability to properly maintain and perform basic repairs on equipment.
      • Basic ability in mathematics, reading, or writing.
      • Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future.
      • Must be able to complete criminal record background check.

      • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times.
      Pay:
      $20.90 per hour
