An Engine and Machine Fabricator or Assembler constructs, assembles, or rebuilds machines, such as engines, turbines, and similar equipment used in such industries as construction, extraction, textiles, and paper manufacturing.
Our client, an industry leader in motor repair and rebuilding, is seeking a Electric Motor Winder to join their team. As a Electric Motor Winder, you will be part of the shop support team supporting motor repair operations. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

DOE Shift:
Days and Swing What's the Job? Tear down, inspect, and rewind AC/DC electric motors and electro-mechanical equipment Prepare motors for rewind: strip, clean, burn out, and rebuild Wind coils, cut and form wire, and install insulation systems Run and operate shop equipment such as winding machines, surge testers, ovens, and grinders Assist experienced winders and continue building your skillset What's Needed? 2+ years of experience in motor winding or electrical/mechanical repair (or strong apprenticeship background) Solid mechanical ability—you know your way around tools and equipment Basic understanding of motor components and electrical theory Ability to read schematics and follow technical instructions Experience with measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators What's in it for me?
