Full-Time/ Direct Hire Mechanical Inspector-Small Motor Shop Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm

Pay:

Starting at $20/hour; increases based on relevant experience and department evaluation Job Responsibilities Perform independent peer inspections. Verify as-found component drawings for manufacturing. Create basic sketch drawings of components, including bushings, sleeves, and shaft keys. Accurately complete required paperwork. Support other machine shop tasks when not performing inspections. Qualifications Experience using mechanical measurement tools, including micrometers, scales, and vernier/dial calipers. Ability to read, interpret, and work from drawings, blueprints, and sketches. Ability to create basic hand drawings of components. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to safely operate equipment, lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and stand, stoop, or kneel for extended periods. Availability for overtime as needed, including extended hours, weekends, and holidays, to support a 24/7/365 service operation. Dependable attendance and availability.
