Job Title:
Electro-Mechanical Assembler Job Description This role focuses on assembling electro-mechanical products in a manufacturing environment by following detailed procedures, assembly drawings, and bills of materials. You will work with a variety of hand and power tools, perform basic material handling tasks, and use a computer to support production activities while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace. Responsibilities Follow established manufacturing procedures and instructions to assemble electro-mechanical products accurately and efficiently. Read and interpret assembly drawings and bills of materials to determine proper components, tools, and assembly steps. Use hand tools such as wire strippers, hex wrenches, screwdrivers, torque wrenches, scrapers, knives, and similar tools to complete assembly tasks. Operate power tools including drills, drill presses, and heat guns in a safe and controlled manner. Perform parts stocking, counting, and basic material handling to ensure components are available for production. Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area in accordance with manufacturing standards. Regularly lift items weighing up to 40 pounds as part of daily production and material handling activities. Sit or stand for extended periods throughout the workday to complete assembly and related tasks. Use ladders safely when required to access materials, equipment, or work areas. Use a computer and basic features of Microsoft Office to support production, documentation, and communication needs. Essential Skills Ability to follow detailed manufacturing procedures and written instructions. Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and bills of materials. Proficient use of common hand tools, including wire strippers, hex wrenches, screwdrivers, torque wrenches, scrapers, and knives. Ability to safely operate power tools such as drills, drill presses, and heat guns. Capability to perform parts stocking, counting, and basic material handling tasks. Ability to regularly lift up to 40 pounds. Comfort with sitting or standing for much of the workday. Ability to safely use ladders as required. Basic computer skills, including the ability to use Microsoft Office applications. General mechanical aptitude suitable for assembly and production work. Additional Skills & Qualifications One year or more experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred; training is available for the right candidate. Familiarity with electro-mechanical tools and manufacturing processes. Minor electrical knowledge, including understanding of positive and negative connections, line, neutral, and ground. Knowledge of common shipping practices. Knowledge of material control practices, such as inventory handling and organization. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Bremerton, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
