Job Description

Laser Operator Location:
Vancouver, WA Pay:
$23 /HR - $25 /
HR Job Description:
Set up and operation of a CO2 6K Bystronic Laser (26' x 8') Basic troubleshooting and preventative maintenance Will be working with mild steel up to 1 inch and stainless up to 5/8 inch Instructing material handlers on prep and set up procedures for efficient output Essential Skills At least 2 years experience in operation of a laser in a metal fab/production/manufacturing environment Able to understand and interpret blueprints/shop drawings Can work with team members and provide productive leadership instruction to more entry level team members
Environment & Shift:
Custom metal shop environment. Must be ok with a non-heated environment. Both bay doors are open in the winter time. Employees must be ok with working in cold weather. Medium size shop with a strong family type culture. Laid back as well, all employees are encouraged to have feedback with the managers, who have an open door policy
Swing Shift:

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
