HIRING MECHANICAL ASSEMBLERS/ MACHINE BUILDERS
Job Description Aerotek is seeking experienced Mechanical Assemblers and Machine Builders for a leading OEM equipment manufacturer in Sheboygan Falls, WI. This role involves assembling custom industrial machinery and equipment from detailed blueprints and engineering drawings. Candidates will work both independently and alongside a team to build sub-assemblies, mid-assemblies, and complete machine systems in a clean, modern manufacturing environment. If you enjoy building equipment from the ground up and have experience reading blueprints, using hand tools, and working with hydraulics or pneumatics, this is a great opportunity to join a growing organization with long-term potential. Responsibilities Assemble sub-assemblies, mid-assemblies, and large machine components for OEM equipment. Read and interpret 2D and 3D blueprints, assembly drawings, schematics, and shop orders. Install and assemble mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components. Utilize hand tools, power tools, drill presses, band saws, and cut-off saws. Measure and inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments. Safely operate overhead cranes and utilize rigging equipment. Verify completed assemblies meet engineering and quality specifications. Work independently with minimal supervision while also collaborating with team members. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Qualifications Experience in machine building, mechanical assembly, maintenance, or industrial equipment assembly. Ability to read and understand blueprints and assembly drawings. Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment. Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics preferred. Experience operating overhead cranes or rigging equipment preferred. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must have a personal set of basic hand tools. High School Diploma or GED. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $34.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
