Job Title:
Mechanical Assembler Job Description This role involves assembling mechanical products in a collaborative production environment, primarily working on assembly lines using hand and power tools. You will build and assemble components according to blueprints and specifications, while safely handling materials and contributing to the smooth flow of production. Responsibilities Assemble mechanical products and components using hand and power tools according to established procedures. Work on assembly lines to build products accurately and efficiently. Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings to ensure correct assembly. Move, load, and unload workpieces, racks, and shelves as needed to support production flow. Measure and verify components and materials to ensure they meet specifications. Use appropriate tools and equipment safely and correctly during all assembly tasks. Perform general labor tasks related to mechanical assembly and material handling. Maintain a clean and organized work area in the assembly department. Collaborate with other assemblers and team members to meet production goals and timelines. Follow all safety guidelines and procedures while working in a manufacturing environment. Essential Skills 1+ years of assembly experience in a production or manufacturing environment. 6+ months of manufacturing experience. Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in mechanical assembly. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings. Experience working on an assembly line or in a similar assembly-focused role. Ability to bend, lift, load, and unload workpieces safely and repeatedly. Mechanical aptitude with experience assembling mechanical components. Ability to measure components and materials accurately using basic measuring tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience working in a metal shop or similar manufacturing setting. Familiarity with various tools, materials, and measuring components used in mechanical assembly. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Ability to work effectively as part of a small, close-knit team. Reliability in maintaining consistent attendance for early morning shifts. Why Work Here? Work Environment You will work in a clean, smaller machine and metal shop environment with approximately 40 people on shift, including office personnel. The atmosphere is friendly and close-knit, where team members know each other by first name. The role follows a Monday through Thursday schedule from 5:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., providing a consistent daytime shift. You will use hand and power tools and handle metal components and materials in a well-maintained production area. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Little Chute, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
