Job Description

Mechanical Industries is a metal fabrication shop specializing in making parts out of tubes and rods. We are looking for someone who knows their way around a shop floor. We are seeking someone who (after a ramp-up period) can take a blueprint of a metal part they've never seen before, and make that part. Including making decisions on machinery to be used, tooling selection, setup, running the parts and doing their own quality checks. CNC knowledge is not required but strong mechanical knowledge is. We are a small shop with a small shop culture. You won't get red tape or bureaucracy. You will get supportive management and flexibility. If this sounds like you, and an environment you might enjoy, we'd love to chat. Note that this position is unable to offer employer-sponsored health insurance benefits at this time.
