09/02/2026 Job Description Job Description Mechanical Assembler Job Summary We are seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join our industrial manufacturing team. This position is responsible for assembling mechanical components, equipment, and subassemblies using blueprints, work instructions, and basic hand and power tools. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, dependable, and comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Assemble mechanical components and equipment according to blueprints, drawings, and work instructions. Use hand tools, power tools, torque tools, and other assembly equipment. Install and fasten components using bolts, screws, fittings, brackets, and other hardware. Perform basic measurements using standard measuring tools to ensure proper fit and alignment. Inspect completed assemblies for workmanship, accuracy, and quality. Identify and communicate assembly or component issues to the appropriate team members. Follow established manufacturing procedures, safety requirements, and quality standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Work collaboratively with production, manufacturing, and quality personnel to meet production requirements. Qualifications Previous mechanical assembly, industrial manufacturing, or related hands-on experience preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with a variety of hand and power tools. Ability to read and follow basic blueprints, mechanical drawings, and written work instructions. Comfortable performing repetitive and detailed assembly work. Ability to troubleshoot basic fitment and assembly issues. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently as well as part of a manufacturing team. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
