Starting at $32.71/hour Job Summary The Coil Prep Operator supports transformer manufacturing through heavy assembly, processing, and pressing of coil windings. This role involves precision work, material handling, and operating industrial equipment while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and craftsmanship. Key Responsibilities Assemble, process, inspect, and size transformer coil windings Operate coil presses, iso?static pressing equipment, and vapor phase processing systems Alignponents, install/remove spacers, prep leads, and install sub?assemblies Load/unload coils using forklifts, overhead cranes, and air?bearing pallets Follow drawings, bills of material, checklists, and trained procedures Perform in?process inspections and verify dimensional accuracy Maintain cleanliness, contamination control, and 5S standards Perform minor repairs and assist with equipment and tool maintenance Support training and safe work practices for new operators Qualifications Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read technical drawings Experience with hand tools, pneumatic tools, presses, forklifts, and cranes Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and work on feet for extended periods Comfortable bending, kneeling, twisting, and working in team?based environments Safety?focused, detail?oriented, and quality?driven Education & Experience

Required:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred:
