Job Description Peerless-AV is seeking a dependable and motivated Tube Laser Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate and monitor our tube laser equipment to produce high-quality parts used in our products. If you have experience with laser cutting, CNC equipment, or metal fabrication—and enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment—we encourage you to apply. We are willing to train the right candidate who has a strong mechanical aptitude and a desire to learn. Qualifications Education High school diploma or GED preferred. Experience Experience operating a tube laser, cutting laser, CNC machine, or similar manufacturing equipment preferred. Metal fabrication or manufacturing experience is a plus. Forklift or material handling equipment experience is beneficial but can be learned on the job. Skills Basic computer skills. Ability to read measurements and perform basic math. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Essential Responsibilities Set up and operate tube laser equipment according to production schedules. Load raw material and unload finished parts safely and efficiently. Perform machine changeovers, including tooling and lens changes as needed. Inspect parts to ensure they meet quality specifications. Enter production information accurately into the manufacturing system (Acumatica). Work closely with the Laser Programmer to identify opportunities for program improvements and increased efficiency. Perform routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance on the machine and surrounding work area. Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as required. Follow all company safety policies and operating procedures. Meet daily production and quality goals. Assist with other manufacturing duties as assigned.
