Job Description

Deployment Technician Staging Technicians are responsible for setting up and configuring both new and refurbished equipment in accordance with customer specifications. This role involves following detailed instructions, using diagnostic tools, and ensuring all equipment is prepared accurately and on time for shipment.
Responsibilities:
  • Read and follow detailed instructions outlined on work travel sheets and staging documentation
  • Follow ESD Procedures.
  • Receive staging and testing orders and verify that all parts, equipment, and counts are correct
  • Set up, connect, and configure a variety of equipment including, but not limited to, scanners, printers, PCs, point-of-sale (POS) systems, battery backups, cash drawers, and tablets
  • Follow procedures to set up and configure equipment for specific store software requirements
  • Learn and use diagnostic software to confirm equipment functionality
  • Ensure each order meets customer-specific configuration and quality standards
  • Accurately complete order documentation and required paperwork
  • Bag, Label, and skid grouped by store/register number
  • Complete staging orders by assigned deadlines
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
  • Hardworking, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
  • Manage time and priorities to meet deadlines
  • Must exhibit ability to multitask with minimal supervision
  • Willing to learn and adapt in a technical environment
  • Fluent in English Bilingual Spanish preferred
  • A+ Certification preferred
