Performs machine and hand finishing techniques to smooth and blend rough components into finished products according. Reads, interprets and follows blueprints, sketches, and product/engineering specifications. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Know and follow general company and corporate policies and procedures. Know, understand, and follow department policies and procedures. Operator will be responsible for the blending of lines using multiples sanding tools to meet engineering requirements. Operator must have excellent hand to eye coordination and good hand dexterity. Must be able to lift and move parts using required safety and material handling techniques. Report to work on time, follow instructions from supervisor or management, interact well co-workers, understand and follow work rules and procedures. Other various duties as needed or as assigned. Education and Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should possess basic computer proficiency and functional knowledge with applications and activities including (but not limited to): Language Skills Ability to read and write the English language. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Personal Skills Must be able to work in standing position up to 10 hours.
