Job Description
Job Summary The spray technician will perform essential job functions associated with the thermal spray coating operation under the direction of the Production Supervisor to meet customer specifications. Responsibilities Operate coating booth. Ability to follow work instructions to ensure pre-coating requirements are complete; cleaning and preparing parts prior to coating. Record, count and sign off on all applicable operations. Routinely check equipment; report problems, monitor booth and filtration systems to prevent airflow imbalance. Perform duties safely and responsibly to prevent damage to parts. Maintain high level of quality. Keep work area clean and organized maintaining 6S standards. Follow company rules and policies. Work to maximize productivity. All other duties assigned b management. Qualifications Must be US citizen or permanent resident to satisfy ITAR compliance. •High school diploma or equivalent (GED). 3 years minimum previous experience in a coating booth preferred. Ability to perform mechanical measurements. Ability to count parts. Need to be organized, detail oriented and accurate. Ability to prioritize jobs and to work independently. Good communication skills with co-workers and management Good attendance is a must. Ability to stay off cell phone during work hours.
