This position plays an important role in producing the high-quality knives and kitchen tools Lamson is known for. The ideal candidate has steady hands, an eye for detail, and takes pride in precision work. Previous sanding or manufacturing experience is preferred but not required. We provide hands-on training from experienced craftsmen with over 30 years of expertise to help you develop the skills needed to succeed.
Responsibilities:
Finish and shape knife handles using sanding belts of various grits Maintain Lamson's high standards for quality and craftsmanship Inspect finished products for consistency and quality Follow all safety procedures and company policies Keep work areas clean and organized Assist with other production tasks as needed
Qualifications:
Manufacturing or sanding experience is preferred, but not required Strong attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination Steady hands and the ability to perform precision work Willingness to learn and follow established finishing techniques Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Pay:
$18.00 per hour
