Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Engraving Sub-Contractor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing high-quality engraving projects across various materials, ensuring precision and craftsmanship at every step. As an integral part of our production process, you will work independently to deliver customized engraved products that meet client specifications and uphold our standards of excellence. This position offers flexibility and the opportunity to showcase your technical skills in a fast-paced, creative environment. You will be responsible to come to our store at 300 Mishawum Road, Woburn to pick up engraving jobs, then drop back off once engraving is finished. Duties Operate engraving equipment with precision to produce detailed designs on diverse surfaces such as metal, wood, glass, or plastic Interpret design files, sketches, or client instructions to accurately execute engraving projects Prepare materials by cleaning and positioning items securely for engraving processes Conduct quality checks throughout the production process to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency of engravings Maintain and troubleshoot engraving machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and quality standards Collaborate with clients or project managers to clarify specifications and provide updates on project progress Skills Proven experience with manual or computerized engraving equipment (e.g., laser engravers, rotary engravers) Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for precision in design execution Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or design files accurately Excellent problem-solving skills for troubleshooting equipment issues or design discrepancies Good organizational skills to manage multiple projects efficiently Knowledge of safety protocols related to machinery operation and handling of materials
