Jeweler / Hand
Engraver RADIIA is a High Jewelry Manufacturer located in Midtown New York; providing services to fine jewelry houses, as well as to emerging designers, and very rarely private clients. We are currently seeking a highly experienced Jeweler to join our team in New York, NY. Bench test is required.
Essential Functions:
Manufacture all types of jewelry items, while adhering to strict tolerance guidelines, standards, and various aesthetics. Fabricate Handmade, as well as semi handmade or casted jewelry using Gold and Platinum Strong self ability to quality control work Strictly work in accordance with safety regulations. Keep workstation / Bench and all equipment in clean and orderly manner. Knowledge of complex jewelry manufacturing. Read job orders, job specifications, safety rules, and safety procedures to ensure safe operation of production machinery and quality standards. Maintain a clean work area and all equipment is in good condition. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years' experience in manufacturing High Jewelry Laser and traditional torch soldering experience Experience working with a microscope Hand Engraving experience Strong verbal, interpersonal and communication skills Must be able to adhere to deadlines Ability to self-evaluate own work and in compliance with Workshop Quality Control Manager Fluency in Russian or Spanish is a plus Technical Skills/Abilities Laser and Microscope work required High accuracy required (strict tolerance for casting cleaning, and assembling) Knowledge of Pre-polishing Knowledge of complex manufacturing is a plus
