Job Description

Job Title:
Coating Technician Summary:
The Coating Technician is responsible for supporting daily production goals in the Coating Department, which operates in a clean room atmosphere. This is a hands-on, temp-to-perm opportunity offering valuable experience in a manufacturing environment. Technicians will handle glass substrates, operate coating machinery, wash and inspect parts, and use a sandblaster as needed.

Pay:
$18.00•$20.00 per hour (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
Operate all coating equipment and support production within the lab value stream. Wash parts using a washing machine or by hand. Load and unload parts into and out of coating machines. Perform visual inspections of glass substrates before and after coating. Use a sandblaster to clean parts (typically one day per week, in addition to other duties). Deliver on daily production commitments while maintaining strict clean room protocols. Follow all work instructions, safety rules, and clean room procedures.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required. Ability to comply with clean room standards. Strong understanding of basic mathematical principles. Ability to read, interpret, and follow documents and work site instructions. Detail-oriented with strong hand-eye coordination and ability to work with small parts. Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer use. Previous clean room or manufacturing experience preferred.
