GED Full Job Description Job Summary and Work Environment:
Create computer generated markers for the patterns of all product lines within Elite. This job is performed in an office environment.
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Essential Functions:
Verify incoming order information against the specific coordinating pattern, prior to creating a marker. This includes verifying correct width for each maker, based on recorded fabric standards as well as leg cuts and necklines. Create markers for the patterns of all product lines within Elite, using Lectra software, maximizing use of the fabric spread. Record and electronically maintain marker information pertaining to each order. This includes color coded body parts and number of fabric ply. Complete a Marker Analysis form to be included with each order. Generate a print of the marker on the plotter to include with the order to forward to the Cutting Department.
Skills and Abilities:
Basic math and linear measuring skills. Basic reading and writing skills. Ability to communicate effectively with peers and management. Computer and keyboarding skills, with computerized marker making experience preferred.
Physical Demands:
Frequent sitting. Infrequent standing, walking, bending and stooping. Infrequent lifting and carrying up to 3 pounds. Manual dexterity of fingers and hands to operate a keyboard.
