Job Description Pay Rate:
$19.65 per hour 6:52AM-3:30PM +OT Lifts live chickens off of a moving conveyor belt and hangs them on overhead shackles. Operate and controls the speed of the conveyor belt with knee-controlled lever Remove birds off the conveyor belt that are deemed "Dead on Arrival." Utilize high pressure hose to wash empty coops and trailers Picks up "Dead on Arrival" and loose chickens off of the floor Cleans up feathers and other debris into gondala or tanks Qualifications Must be able to stand for prolong periods of time (8+HRS) on the concrete/metal grate ergo stands on the floor Good hand-eye coordination Ability to meet company established standards Repetitive grasping, pushing, and pulling motions, torso twisting and lifting of 4-10LBS Able to work in a dark, dusty, cold, or hot environment Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
