METAL SPINNER

METAL SPINNING EXPERIENCE

need apply.. All others will be rejected. This is for a production job shop. Machining skills will put you on the higher pay scale. We are willing to help relocate the right person. Must have verifiable experience metal spinning. Position will require knowledge and skill in spinning aluminum, brass, copper, steel and stainless steel from .025" - .063" mostly using compound levered rollers. Much work is under 20" typically and will rarely exceeds 25" in diameter. This person will be a self starter able to do quick set-ups to test and develop blank sizes and quality standards for parts. Able to make or modify tooling to meet quality requirements. A well rounded person with fabrication and machining skills is highly desirable since we do make finished goods also. Pay is depending on meeting our experience requirements with potential for growth. Our typical hours are M, Tu, Th and Fri 7:00 to 5:30 with Wednesdays off. Occasional O/T. We are a job shop with typical runs of 50 - 500 pieces. This is a full time position. We mostly do precision ornamental parts along with parts for many other industries including filtration, automotive and aerospace, etc. Quality is extremely important to us along with customer service. This is mostly hand spinning with roller scissor tools. There are many other jobs we may need you to do at times which may include machining, We are located in the high desert in Rosamond, 10 miles north of Palmdale/Lancaster 1/2 mile from the 14 freeway.
