Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our production team. This role involves hands-on work in areas such as carpentry, metal polishing, solid surface polishing, and paint preparation. Training is provided, making this a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with their hands and take pride in producing high-quality finished products.
Job Title:
Skilled (Carpentry / Finishing)•1st
Shift Schedule:
Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM•4:30 PM (overtime may be available)
First Day Start Time:
8:00
AM Pay Rate:
$20.00•$22.00 per hour (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
Perform tasks related to carpentry, metal polishing, and surface finishing Prepare parts and materials for painting and final production Operate and safely use hand and power tools Measure and cut materials accurately using a tape measure Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met Maintain a clean and organized work environment Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
Qualifications:
Prior trade experience preferred (carpentry, polishing, or similar hands-on work) Comfortable using hand and power tools Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately Strong attention to detail Self-motivated, reliable, and willing to learn new skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (lifting equipment required for heavier items) High School Diploma or GED preferred Must pass a 5-panel drug screen Background check required (IDOC/Sex Offender registry; felonies considered on a case-by-case basis) Benefits (Upon Direct Hire): 401(k) plan Health insurance #FortWayne
