Maintain all quality standards by enforcing organizational standards, safety practices, & promoting a safe work environment.
  • Must be able to meet all auto polishing machine & back stand polishing machine job descriptions.
  • Use of hand tools to maintain polishing machines
  • Inspect and identify potential defective material
  • Identify parts by part number, appearance, etc.
  • Must complete all daily paperwork, including payroll.
  • Ensure operation of equipment and call for repairs as necessary
  • Ensure the training of employees the polishing process meet company quality guidelines
  • Must continually monitor daily progress of the department including shift capacity opportunities and /or constraints.
  • Knowledge of departmental procedures.
  • Monitor and own all consumables in the polishing department.
  • Track out all daily outputs
  • Develop KPIs for department
  • Understand the training matrix to determine how many employees are trained or signed off in each skilled area and staff as needed.
  • Communicate any issues or concerns to management.
  • Misc. Duties as instructed by Plant Manager Work Experience Requirements
  • Experience with various polishing methods and equipment.
  • General mechanical awareness in operation automated polishing & sanding equipment.
  • Be able to follow instructions Education / Physical Requirements
  • High School Diploma / Associate's Degree
  • 1 -2 years' experience in manufacturing supervision setting
  • Ability to light 50 pounds on a continual basis
  • Ability to stand for several hours at a time, bending and stooping
Pay:
From $50,000.00 per year
