- Julian Woods LLC is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Spraying & Staining professional to apply high-quality finishes to kitchen cabinets and wood components. This role is critical in ensuring product consistency, color accuracy, and overall finish quality while meeting production deadlines.

- Based on experience and qualifications
Job Details:
- Full-time (40 hours per week)
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM- 5:00
PM Job Responsibilities:
- Apply stains, sealers, lacquers, and paints to cabinets and wood components using spray equipment.
- Prepare surfaces by sanding, cleaning, and masking prior to finishing.
- Match colors accurately and maintain consistency across production batches.
- Operate, clean, and maintain spray equipment and finishing tools.
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards and correct defects as needed.
- Monitor drying times and environmental conditions for optimal finishing results.
- Follow all safety procedures and proper handling of finishing materials.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work closely with production team members to meet deadlines and production goals.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in spraying, staining, or wood finishing (cabinet or furniture industry preferred).
- Knowledge of stains, paints, sealers, and finishing techniques.
- Ability to operate spray equipment and troubleshoot minor issues.
- Strong attention to detail and color matching ability.
- Ability to follow work orders, specifications, and production schedules.
- Good communication skills; English required for safety and coordination.
- Bilingual candidates are a plus.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and in a team environment.
Additional Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Basic understanding of different wood types and finishing behavior.
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Comfortable working with tools, chemicals, and in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred:
- 3-5+ years of experience in cabinet or furniture manufacturing
- Experience with both water-based and solvent-based finishes
- Strong understanding of finishing quality control standards
