Grinding - Finishing work (1st shift) Confidential - 4.0 Avon, MA Job Details Full-time Up to $21 an hour 8 hours ago Qualifications Grinding machine operation Moving Forklift Attention to detail Ability to follow instructions Materials handling Full Job Description Responsibilities Remove burrs, rough edges, and ridges from metal-cut parts Follow written and verbal instructions and complete assigned work orders Remove imperfections including gouges and scratches from finished parts Operate equipment such as: Tumblers Table-mounted grinders Sanders Hand grinders Deburring tools Semi-automatic polishers/grinders Work with aluminum and stainless-steel cut plates Clean and degrease parts using tumbling machines, solvents, and high-pressure air equipment Safely move materials using overhead cranes, jib cranes, and forklifts when needed Qualifications Previous grinding and deburring experience required Experience in a custom metal fabrication shop preferred Familiarity with hand tools and power tools Ability to operate overhead cranes, jib cranes, and forklift equipment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Schedule First shift $21.00 per hour depending on experience
