Summary We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team at Broomfield Laboratories Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for the precise cutting of materials used in our manufacturing processes. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining our high standards of quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Operate a band saw to cut steel to required lengths and specifications. Measure materials accurately using a tape measure. Handle and maneuver large steel stock (up to 20+ ft lengths). Safely operate hoists, forklifts, and other lifting equipment. Use a computer to issue materials and perform inventory transactions in Epicor ERP. Follow work orders, cutting instructions, and safety protocols. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Perform basic maintenance and daily checks on equipment.
Requirements:
Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred. Proficient in using a computer to enter and track data Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods. Comfortable using lifting equipment and handling long, heavy materials. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one.
