Manufacturing Full Job Description Responsibilities:
Mask metal parts and components before powder coating. Apply masking materials such as masking discs, high-temperature tapes, plugs, and other specialized masking products. Ensure required areas and surfaces remain free of powder coating. Follow drawings, specifications, and work instructions to determine proper masking locations. Remove masking materials from parts after the powder coating process is complete. Inspect parts for proper masking, coating coverage, and overall quality. Maintain clean and organized work areas. Handle parts and masking materials safely and carefully. Identify and report masking or coating defects to supervisors or quality personnel. Meet production schedules while maintaining accuracy and quality Qualifications Minimum 2 years of previous experience in masking for wet paint or powder coating. Experience reading and interpreting prints, drawings, or technical specifications is required. Familiarity with masking discs, high-temperature tapes, plugs, and other masking materials. Strong attention to detail and ability to perform precise, repetitive work. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to work independently and as part of a production team. Previous experience in a manufacturing, painting, powder coating, or metal finishing environment is preferred Hours are Monday through Friday 7am to 3:30pm The pay is up to $20.00 an hour based on experience
