Job Description

Overview Job Summary The hide pattern trimmer is the process of trimming unusable areas of the hide to specific hide pattern. The hide pattern trimmer will use a knife to remove the faceplate, knee area, tail, and udder/ cod of the hide.
Key Responsibilities:
Trim faceplate keeping square cheek area Open shanks and trim knee Open tail and trim square Trim teats and fat stringers

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications (Required): Must be 18 years of age or older. Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship. Must be able to work in a humid, hot, wet, slippery, or moving surface at varied heights in and around moving equipment and parts with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience/knowledge of manufacturing environment. Previous heavy machinery experience in manufacturing environment. Previous agriculture production/ beef plant experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Be attentive to detail. Ability to work safely, wear PPE, and follow instructions. Ability to attend work consistently. Always be aware of your surroundings. Follow all safety, food safety, and animal welfare or sanitary dress procedures. Able to stand for lengthy periods of time. Display strong work ethic.
