Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Dry Cleaner Spotter/Operator. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning, pressing, and finishing garments to a high standard, ensuring customer satisfaction and garment longevity. Key Responsibilities Garment Inspection & Preparation Examine clothing for stains, damage, and cleaning requirements. Sort garments by fabrics type, color, and cleaning method Dry Cleaning Operations Operate washers, dryers, dry cleaning machine and apply appropriate solvents Utilize spotting board to treat stains using specialized chemicals and technique Perform minor repairs (e.g., buttons, zippers, hems) Pressing & Finishing Use steam presses, irons, and finishing equipment to remove wrinkles Shape and restore garments to original form Ensure garments are neatly folded, hung, or packaged Customer Service Interact with customers professionally and courteously Address concerns and ensure satisfaction with finished garments Maintenance & Safety Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment Follow safety protocols when handling chemicals and machinery Skills & Qualifications Prior experience in dry cleaning and pressing (must have minimum 1 year experience) Familiarity with different fabrics and stain removal techniques Ability to operate pressing equipment and dry cleaning machines Strong attention to detail and garment care standards Physical stamina for standing, lifting, and repetitive tasks Excellent time management and organizational skills
