Job Description
Empire Coating Inc. is looking for a detail-oriented, hands-on Production Masker to join our team! In this role, you will prepare metal parts for finishing processes such as painting and anodizing by applying masking materials including tape, plugs, and latex. The Production Masker plays an important role in ensuring parts are properly prepared and meet customer specifications. What You'll Do Prepare parts for painting, anodizing, and other finishing processes. Review work orders, drawings, and customer requirements to determine the proper masking method. Select and apply appropriate masking materials, including tape, plugs, and latex. Carefully mask areas such as threads, holes, critical surfaces, and other areas that must remain free of coating. Clean and prepare surfaces before applying masking materials. Inspect masked parts to ensure proper coverage, placement, and adhesion. Identify and correct masking issues before parts move to the next stage of production. Follow work instructions, blueprints, and customer specifications. Communicate with other production team members to keep work moving efficiently. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all company safety and quality procedures.
