Job Description

Ross Metal Fabricators | Deer Park, New York Ross Metal Fabricators, a leader in the design and manufacture of industrial mixing and blending equipment, is seeking an experienced Metal Polisher to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with steel and stainless-steel components and possess a strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. This position is responsible for preparing, grinding, deburring, and polishing components to meet required surface finish specifications. Duties and Responsibilities Deburr, grind, and polish steel and stainless-steel parts and components Operate pneumatic and electric grinding and polishing hand tools safely and effectively Perform polishing operations ranging from approximately 70 RA (80 grit) to a 4 RA mirror finish Inspect finished parts to ensure surface quality and finish requirements are met Follow established quality and safety procedures Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Work collaboratively with supervisors and fellow team members to meet production schedules and quality requirements Qualifications Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work Ability to perform visual inspections to ensure parts are completed properly Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment Must maintain a professional, clean, and organized work area Must possess basic personal tools, including wrenches, screwdrivers, and a tape measure Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience polishing, grinding, and finishing steel and stainless-steel components required Experience polishing stainless steel to specified surface finish requirements strongly preferred What We Offer Medical insurance Dental and vision insurance 401(k) with employer match Vacation and PTO policy Paid holidays Positive and collaborative work environment Job Type Full-time Interested candidates should submit their resume to RMF- Employment@mixers.com
