Adecco is hiring for a Plastics Finisher - 1st
Shift Pay:
$17.00-$19.00 per hour (DOE)
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM Join Our Team! We are seeking a detail-oriented Plastics Finisher to join our production team on 1st shift. In this role, you will be responsible for finishing molded plastic parts to customer specifications while maintaining quality, productivity, and safety standards. If you have strong attention to detail, enjoy hands-on work, and are committed to producing quality products, we'd love to hear from you! Key Responsibilities Mix filler and hardener according to work instructions. Inspect molded parts and fill voids as required. Finish parts using sandpaper, straight drills, and sanding equipment according to job specifications. Verify part counts, scan job travelers, and route completed work to the next production stage. Meet established quality and production standards. Support quality management initiatives, including ISO processes and the Syteline MIS system. Contribute to team and organizational goals by supporting continuous improvement efforts. Follow all safety policies, procedures, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Demonstrate reliable attendance and professionalism. Apply training, skills, and knowledge consistently to produce quality results. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent. Manual dexterity and ability to work with hand tools. Ability to read and understand job travelers and job specifications. Strong attention to detail. Preferred Six months of experience in a surface finishing, manufacturing, or related production environment. Physical Requirements Ability to sit for extended periods. Frequent reaching, grasping, and handling of parts and hand tools. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds as needed. Experience in manufacturing or finishing operations is a plus, but candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
Pay Range:
