• Knowledge and experience with power tools and hand tools as well as painting tools and products.
• Some experience in painting or finishing work preferred.

What you'll do: As a Finisher, you'll be an essential part of our production process, responsible for assembling high-quality products with precision and care.

Your role will include:

• Sanding and smoothing surfaces using power tools and sanders
• Applying stains, sealers, and other coatings by using various techniques
• Troubleshoot and address any defects
• May perform minor repairs such as scratches
• Inspect all finished surfaces for any defects and ensure a consistent and quality product
• Follow safety protocols when handling chemicals and operating equipment
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Collaborating with a supportive team to meet production goals
• Contributing to the lean manufacturing culture and continuous improvement efforts
• Embracing opportunities for growth and development This is a fairly active position requiring long periods on your feet.

Some lifting of up to 30 lbs. might be required. Opportunities are great at Inova, with plenty of room to advance and grow in other areas of our facility. This is a full-time position, 10 hour shifts 7-5:30 Monday-Thursday, with possible OT on Fridays. Past experience is helpful but not required, such as carpentry, cabinet maker, millwork, painter, handyman, etc.
