Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Experienced Cabinet Finisher to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying finishes to custom cabinetry and wood products, ensuring a high-quality, flawless appearance that meets our exacting standards. Your expertise in surface preparation, painting, staining, and finishing techniques will contribute directly to the creation of beautiful, durable cabinetry that delights our customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of materials and advanced finishing equipment in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Responsibilities Prepare cabinet surfaces by sanding, cleaning, and masking to ensure optimal finish adhesion. Apply finishes using airless paint spraying equipment, brushes, rollers, or other hand tools with precision and consistency. Operate industrial painting and auto painting equipment to achieve smooth, even coats on complex surfaces. Perform auto body repair techniques as needed to correct surface imperfections before finishing. Use precision measuring instruments and hand tools to verify dimensions and quality standards throughout the finishing process. Handle materials safely with proper use of forklifts, cranes, and other warehouse equipment for efficient material movement. Conduct routine maintenance on finishing equipment and ensure compliance with safety protocols related to welding, machining, and airless spray systems. Collaborate with fabrication and assembly teams to ensure seamless workflow and timely completion of projects. Maintain detailed records of finishing procedures, materials used, and quality inspections for accountability and continuous improvement. Qualifications Proven experience as a cabinet finisher or in a similar manufacturing or industrial painting role. Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in machining, fabrication, welding, auto body repair, and auto painting techniques. Proficiency in operating power tools, hand tools, airless paint sprayers, and precision measuring instruments. Knowledge of materials handling procedures including forklift operation and crane safety practices. Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements, mixing paints, and quality control purposes. Experience with lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow efficiency. Warehouse experience is preferred for understanding inventory management and safety standards. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on achieving high-quality finishes consistently.
