The Apprentice role at Pritchard Industries is an entry-level position designed to provide hands-on training in the finishing and polishing of metal products. This role is ideal for individuals looking to develop technical skills in surface finishing, polishing techniques, and quality standards. Apprentices will work under the guidance of experienced professionals to learn industry best practices and support daily production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the polishing and finishing of metal products to meet company quality standards Learn and apply various polishing techniques, tools, and equipment Support surface preparation processes, including cleaning, grinding, and buffing Inspect finished products to ensure quality and consistency Maintain a clean and organized work environment Follow all safety procedures and guidelines Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals Participate in training and development opportunities
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred Strong willingness to learn and develop new skills Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision Good attention to detail and quality standards Basic mechanical aptitude is a plus Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
Work Environment:
Industrial/manufacturing setting Exposure to machinery, noise, and metal materials Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
