Description Mold Polisher Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Mold polisher to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for refining, polishing, and finishing mold surfaces used in plastic injection and die-cast manufacturing. This mold polisher plays a key role in ensuring molds meet high-quality and precision standards to support optimal product performance and appearance. Responsibilities Polish and finish mold surfaces to required specifications and surface finishes.
Remove tool marks, scratches, and imperfections using stones, emery paper, polishing compounds, and hand tools.
Operate polishing equipment and power tools safely and effectively.
Inspect molds and surfaces for defects, accuracy, and quality standards.
Maintain clean and organized workstations and equipment.
Follow safety procedures and company manufacturing guidelines.
Work closely with mold makers, machinists, and production staff to meet project deadlines.
Assist with mold maintenance and repair as needed. Experience & Qualifications Previous polishing, manufacturing, or mold related experience preferred, but not required.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and polishing techniques.
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Ability to read and interpret basic prints or work instructions.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
