• Required field. Shop Fabricator The Job Center Staffing is hiring associates on 1 st shift Fabrication in the Woodlawn area. This is a great opportunity for a temp to hire placement. Compensation/Shift/Benefits of Shop Fabricator $ 18.50
• 20 depending on experience Resume required with experience 1 st shift 6:30am-4pm Monday
• Thursday (work 36 hours paid for 40 hours) Benefits include: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), PTO Eligibility for the Work and Win program
• Rent/Mortgage paid for a year Responsibilities of Shop Fabricator Read and follow blueprints and work instructions.

Operate sheet metal fabrication equipment, including shears, press brakes, drills, and sanding equipment. Measure parts using tape measures and calipers to ensure accuracy. Perform basic machine cleaning and maintenance. Inspect finished parts for quality. Keep your work area clean and organized. Follow all safety procedures and report any issues to your supervisor. Work independently and as part of a team to meet production goals. Requirements of Shop Fabricator Ability to stand for the duration of the shift. Frequently lift up to 25 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs. Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment. High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous manufacturing or sheet metal fabrication experience is a plus. Ability to read blueprints or mechanical drawings is preferred. Experience using measuring tools such as tape measures or calipers is a plus. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Reliable attendance and a positive attitude.
