KEITH Manufacturing CO. is hiring an Entry ‑ Level Semi ‑ Automated Sander Operator to join our fabrication team. This position is ideal for individuals looking to start a career in manufacturing or fabrication. No prior sanding or machine experience is required — we provide on ‑ the ‑ job training . Submit your completed application at keithwalkingfloor.com/current openings Essential Functions Operate semi‑automated sanding equipment after training. Load and unload parts safely and correctly. Monitor machines during operation and follow work instructions. Visually inspect parts to ensure quality and surface finish standards. Perform basic adjustments and routine cleaning of equipment. Notify a lead or supervisor of any quality or equipment concerns. Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe. Follow all safety rules, procedures, and PPE requirements. Work as part of a team to meet daily production goals. Other Duties may be assigned. Minimum Qualifications Minimum of 18 years of age. Able to communicate in English with team members (Speak and reading, writing ability required.) May be required to pass employer performance tests including pre-employment drug screening. Experience in manufacturing and fabrication preferred. Familiarity with hand tools or basic machinery preferred. Ability and willingness to follow directions as well as the ability to work independently requiring little or no supervision. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Training & Advancement On the job training provided. Opportunities to learn additional machines and processes. Potential for advancement into skilled operator or fabrication roles. Working Conditions Manufacturing/fabrication shop environment Exposure daily to continual noise from machines Repetitive motions and standing throughout the shift. Physical Requirements Must be able to sit or stand for 10 hours at a time and perform repetitive tasks. Must be able to lift up to 40-50 lbs. with assistance when needed.
