This role involves assisting with various coating and finishing processes on metal surfaces, ensuring high-quality results in a production environment. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, reliable, and capable of working with spray equipment and handling physical tasks required for finishing metal components. Duties Assist with industrial painting tasks, including preparation and application of coatings on metal surfaces. Operate spray guns for painting, coating, and spraying applications, ensuring proper technique and coverage. Support coating processes such as conventional spraying and powder coating to achieve smooth, durable finishes. Participate in production finishing activities, including surface preparation and touch-ups to meet quality standards. Handle materials and equipment safely while working in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. Be able to lift up to 65 pounds regularly to move materials, parts, or equipment as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, tools, and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency. Experience Prior experience in industrial painting or metal finishing is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate. Familiarity with spray guns, coating techniques, or powder coating processes, and metal treatments is advantageous. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a production environment. Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects up to 65 lbs consistently. Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship are essential for success in this role. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in industrial painting and finishing while contributing to high-quality manufacturing projects. We value reliability, safety awareness, and a proactive approach in our team members. Work will be part time hours during middleshift, but may grow into a fulltime position.
Pay:
$17.50 - $21.50 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 30.0 per week
