We are seeking a Precision Metal Polisher to join our team. In this highly critical role, you will take machined parts and hand-carve radii and polish surfaces to exact customer specifications. As a Precision Metal Polisher, you'll transform machined components into finished precision parts by polishing surfaces to exact customer specifications. Your responsibilities will include: Polish precision components to blueprint, customer, and manufacturing specifications. Hand carve radii to exact dimensional requirements. Verify radii, dimensions, and surface finishes using precision measuring equipment. Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings. Operate polishing equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently. Inspect finished work to ensure it meets quality standards. Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.What Makes You Successful:

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings. Knowledge of basic algebra, geometry, and trigonometry. Ability to use precision measuring equipment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be a U.S. citizen or be able to comply with U.S. export regulations. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment including safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety shoes.Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Two or more years of polishing experience preferred. Manufacturing or precision machining experience is a plus.Physical Requirements:
This position requires standing, sitting, or working in bent positions throughout a 10-hour shift while performing highly detailed work. Candidates should have excellent manual dexterity, strong hand-eye coordination, and the ability to use magnification devices for extended periods. The position also requires lifting up to 35 pounds on an occasional basis and wearing required personal protective equipment. Why Oberg?
