Job Description
Overview We are looking for a reliable Batch Powder Coater to join our production team. REQUIREMENTS
- Previous powder coating, painting, manufacturing, or production experience preferred
- Ability to read and follow process sheets and work instructions
- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. independently and up to 70 lbs. with team or equipment assistance
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, kneel, climb, and work in high temperatures during a 10-hour shift
- Ability to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, gloves, ear protection, respirator as needed, and safety-toe footwear
- Strong attention to detail, including the ability to recognize color, coating thickness, and powder contamination issues
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set up powder coating booth and spray equipment to coat parts according to specifications
- Monitor coating quality, settings, tooling, and part placement to ensure consistent finishes
- Communicate with supervisors and team members about equipment issues, process sheets, urgent parts, and production needs
