Powder Coater

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Powder Coater to join our steel fabrication team. This role is responsible for preparing, coating, and finishing fabricated metal products using electrostatic powder coating equipment to ensure high-quality, durable finishes that meet customer specifications.

Pay & Schedule Pay:

$24-$25 per hour.

Schedule:

6:30 AM - 2:30 PM (with 4:30 PM end time as required for overtime). Monday through Friday with overtime as needed to support production demands. Key Responsibilities Prepare steel and fabricated metal parts for coating through cleaning, masking, and proper hanging. Operate powder coating spray systems, booths, and curing ovens. Apply powder coatings evenly to meet quality and appearance standards. Inspect finished parts for defects such as runs, coverage issues, or contamination. Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform routine booth and gun maintenance. Follow all safety procedures and properly use required PPE at all times. Move materials using forklifts or overhead cranes as needed (training available if required). Work closely with fabrication and production teams to meet daily schedules and deadlines. Qualifications Previous powder coating, painting, or industrial finishing experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards. Ability to read and follow work orders and production specifications. Forklift or overhead crane experience is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for long periods of time. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly. Frequent bending, reaching, and handling of metal parts. Work Environment Industrial steel fabrication environment with exposure to heat, dust, and noise. PPE required at all times for safety compliance. Team-oriented production setting with daily output goals.

$24.00 - $25.00 per hour
