Flat Line Spray Operator

Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Flat Line Spray Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a Flat Line Spray System. As an operator, you will learn to apply sealer, toner, top coat, and various paint and primer colors to flat wood items such as trim, doors, face frames, and cabinet box sides, while ensuring quality standards are met. Our current working schedule is Monday-Thursday, 10 hour shifts, with Fridays being used for overtime which usually consist of a 6 hour shift. Normal hours during the week are 6:00am - 4:30pm. Responsibilities Operators will learn to apply coatings evenly and consistently to wood or manufactured products Monitor finish quality, color consistency, and coating thickness. Adjust machine settings for proper spray coverage and material usage. Load and unload materials safely and efficiently. Perform routine cleaning and maintenance on the machine. Inspect finished products for defects and report issues as needed. Follow production schedules and meet daily output goals. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE. Requirements Previous manufacturing or finishing experience is preferred. Experience with spray equipment or wood finishing is a plus. Ability to read and follow directions. Have a strong attention to detail and quality control. Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Must be prepared for repetitive movements such as walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift. Must be able to lift materials less than 25 pounds. Dependable attendance is key. Forklift experience is preferred but not required.

Pay:

$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
