Overview:

Blackwater Industries is a steel fabrication facility. We are seeking a full-time helper for our growing team. This role reports to the shop manager and is responsible for assisting in various tasks to support the smooth operation of our organization. You will have the opportunity to learn and practice fitting, welding, and coating in a fabrication environment depending on project needs.

Responsibilities:

Assist with loading, unloading, and material handling Support welders, fitters, and fabricators during non-coating periods Clean parts with a grinder when necessary Perform general shop cleanup, organization, and maintenance tasks Operate forklifts and assist with job inventory tracking as required Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and shop policies

Preferred Qualifications:

1-2 years of experience working in a fabrication shop, manufacturing environment, or industrial setting Forklift experience or certification

Skills:
