$18.00-$21.00 per hour (DOE)

Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Powder Coater to join our manufacturing team in Dallas, TX. This position is responsible for setting up and operating powder coating equipment to apply high-quality finishes to metal enclosures and components. The ideal candidate has experience with powder coating processes, equipment setup, quality inspections, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Key Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor powder coating equipment to apply finishes to metal products. Prepare coatings and powders by selecting and mixing materials according to specifications. Adjust spray guns, nozzles, air pressure, conveyor speeds, and machine settings to achieve optimal coating quality. Inspect coated parts for coverage, finish quality, and compliance with customer specifications. Perform test runs and make machine adjustments as needed to ensure consistent production. Monitor machine gauges and equipment to identify defects or operational issues. Clean and maintain powder coating equipment, spray booths, and work areas. Weigh and measure coating materials before use. Operate auxiliary equipment used in the coating process. Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Qualifications Minimum 1 year of powder coating experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience setting up and operating powder coating equipment. Ability to perform visual quality inspections and identify coating defects. Basic mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and perform routine equipment maintenance. Experience using hand and power tools for equipment adjustments and repairs. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to lift 50 pounds or more and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
