: Aluminum Manufacturing Department Metal Cleaner/Polisher About The Company Winholt Equipment•Grand Prairie, TX is a custom manufacturer and distributor of food handling, food preparation, and materials handling equipment. SUMMARY The Aluminum Steel Cleaner and Polisher is the final operation before customer shipment. This operation is the face of the department. It is a key position regarding overall product quality and customer satisfaction. As such, this is a high visibility position

Reporting:

This position reports to the Aluminum Department Supervisor PRIMARY DUTIES and

RESPONSIBILITIES

Using supplied tools and equipment, performs the following operations within the department: Finish or polish Aluminum parts using a variety of stationary and portable grinders, files, buffing wheels and sanders. Wear appropriate PPE including safety glasses, face shields, gloves, hardhat, dust masks etc. Move heavy materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. Repetitive use of hands for simple grasping, pushing, pulling and fine manipulation. Frequent standing, bending, walking, kneeling, squatting and twisting Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards Assemble items as instructed by department supervisor Keep work area clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilities Follow all company rules and policies Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task. Follow all safety rules and quality standards Work with you department team to maximize productivity and efficiency May have to prepare product for shipment Lift materials, final products and items packed for shipment manually (up to 60 pounds) ask for assistance. Uphold all OSHA standards applicable to the responsibilities above Other duties, as assigned

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent Must pay close attention to detail. Errors made at this operation will have a direct impact on product quality and or performance and possible loss of customer confidence. Must be able to listen, read, write and communicate effectively Must have basic mathematical skills Experience working with aluminum Ability to lift heavy items up to 60 pounds Ability to identify and measure material Ability to produce quality products consistently Ability to follow instruction given both verbally and in written form Must be dependable, On time , every day.

Shift:

Day Shift M•F with limited overtime as needed.
