 division is currently seeking a Industrial Grinder
  • 2nd Shift. The core hours are Monday
  • Thursday 2:30pm to 11:00pm and Friday 12:30pm to 9:00pm.
The hourly rate for this position is $20.21/hour + $1.20/hour shift differential per hour. What you'll do: Grind and polish metal. Use spot welding equipment, welds appropriate parts together based on specifications. Run samples and check product quality against prints. Adjust spot welder to properly weld material based on thickness and finish. Performs all quality checks, fill out daily activity reports, and enter time recording in SAP. Changes welding tips as necessary. Performs 5S & Continuous Improvement activities. Other duties as assigned.

Position Criteria:
Ability to lift 50 lbs. alone occasionally to frequently, and up to 100 lbs. with assistance occasionally by stooping, reaching, bending. Ability to read blueprints and use simple measuring tools. Ability to follow directions, work independently and close attention to detail. Work as part of a team having responsibility for assembling an entire product or component of a product. Ability to reach, grasp and manipulate. Ability to work mandatory overtime, including Saturdays and up to 12 hours in a shift, as needed by the business.
